Who we are

Learnify is built and operated by Tema Technologies in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. References to “we,” “our,” or “us” in this policy mean Tema Technologies.

What we collect

• Account: email, name (if provided), grade.
• Usage: which features you use (Study/Homework/Quiz), device/browser info.
• Content you provide: textbook pages/files, text you type, optional voice, and receipt uploads for plan activation.
• Logs and errors to keep the service reliable and secure.

Why we use it

• To run the app: auth, grade/subject routing, showing books, and grounding answers to your uploads.
• To debug issues and prevent abuse.
• To send account/billing notices.

Storage & sharing

• Stored securely in our database and file storage.
• We do not sell your data.
• Shared only with service providers needed to operate the app, or if required by law.

Retention

Data is kept while your account is active and as needed for support, security, billing records, and legal obligations. You can request export, correction, consent review, or deletion of your account data from Settings.

Your controls

• Access/delete/export/correction: use Settings privacy controls, or email hello@learnify.et from your account email.
• Stop using optional uploads/voice if you don’t want them stored.
• Learning personalization consent can be reviewed or revoked in Settings.

Security

Encrypted in transit and role-based access. Keep your login safe.

Minors

This is an educational tool; parents/guardians can request deletion or consent review from the student account settings or at hello@learnify.et.
